Spam Filters in Shared Hosting
If you get a shared hosting plan from our company and if you use our email services, you will be able to activate anti-spam protection for any of the mailboxes that you set up from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. With just a couple of clicks, you can pick between 5 separate security levels. In case you start getting spam, you can start with the lowest level and then slowly raise the level till you stop receiving spam. We rely on one of the very best and most popular spam filters out there called SpamAssassin. It analyzes the header section and the body of each message that you receive and determines a spam score, based on which it either erases a given email message or allows it to enter your mailbox. The Hepsia Control Panel will also allow you to activate custom spam filters and either erase unwanted email messages or redirect them to a third-party email address like firstname.lastname@example.org where you can double-check them afterwards.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you order a semi-dedicated server plan from our company and if you create one or more email addresses with any of the domains hosted in your account, you will be able to activate the advanced, 5-level SpamAssassin anti-spam filter that we provide and keep all undesired messages out of your inbox. This option is accessible through the Email Manager section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel and it can be activated or deactivated for any email account whenever you wish. You can also tweak the level of safety with a few mouse clicks if junk emails continue to enter your mailbox or the anti-spam filter starts deleting authentic messages. Since you can choose if the spam should be erased instantaneously or redirected to a different mailbox, you can set up email@example.com, for instance, and view all filtered emails there, so as to make certain that you will not miss an email message that you need. The email messages that the email filter permits to proceed will still be received in your inbox.
